Your Elk/Mule-Deer Hunt
Our Elk/Mule-Deer hunts are 7 days and we offer a rifle hunt in the rut for our elk hunts which begin September 17. We accommodate 4 hunters per week for only 2 weeks. You will find our mule deer in the same areas that you are elk hunting, therefore a combination hunt is also available.
Our lodge is located along the Brazeau River where you can see the beautiful Rocky Mountains. However a good portion of our hunting area (hundreds of square miles), is a more flat terrain, but this makes our hunts possible for the more physically challenged.
We offer a variety of ways to make your hunt as pleasurable and successful as possible. For your elk hunt we offer river hunts, spot & stalk, ATV’s, or stands. We can plan your customized hunt to your abilities and preferences based on skill and expectations. Success rates on our elk hunts have been 50% with 80% opportunity.

Temperatures vary from 30 degrees Fahrenheit to 80 degrees with a possibility of rain or snow.
Getting To Your Elk Hunt
You will fly into Edmonton, Alberta’s International Airport where we are waiting there to pick you up. After leaving the airport our 2-2.5 hour trip to the lodge begins with the last 20 minutes of our journey on ATV’s to reach the camp.
Where You Stay During Your Elk Hunt
The only access to our elk camp is either by ATV or riverboat, making it a very low pressure hunting area. The lodge consists of comfortable log cabins heated with wood, outdoor shower facilities, generated power, and home cooked meals on a wood stove.
In the afternoons we like to either walk down and fish the river or just sit around the campfire to share stories.
